2ND IN SAM’S FLORIDA SERIES! Since his move to Lakeland, Florida, in 2010, Sam has been captivated by the arresting landscape and architecture of the area. This house is located in the subdivision where Sam and Mindy live in south Lakeland. They kept noticing the picturesque home during their daily walk. Sam was compelled to capture the structure on canvas. A Stinson flies in the sky so it’s still considered aviation art! Sam gave a print to the home owners as thanks for the inspiration. Look for more Florida scenes in Sam’s future paintings.
The 12” x 24” prints are available in a Limited Edition size of 50 Signed & Numbered; 5 Artist Proofs; and 15 framed Giclee Prints on Canvas. If the paper print is framed, it will consist of double mats, plaque, and a medium brown wood frame with beaded accents.

1st IN SAM'S FLORIDA SERIES! This incredibly life-like scene with a very pretty Cub on floats was named after a "Name the Painting" contest that was held during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010. The details on this print are so exact, you can hear the call of the birds and the gentle whoosh of their wings. Feel the heaviness of the Florida air. Take a breath and you can smell the slightly musky, earthy scent of the lush tropical greenery. And how about the gator? Can you spot her? This is the view Sam and Mindy have from their Lakeland backyard. Unfortunately a gorgeous Cub float plane does not sit by their dock. They don’t even have a dock … yet. But that’s the beauty of artistic license.
