Even sitting still, Sean D. Tucker’s Oracle Challenger III biplane looks awesome. Of course what the legendary aerobatic performer can do in the air is even more astounding. Since the mid-70s, Sean has flown more than 1,000 performances at more than 425 airshows. Sam thought this particular view of Sean’s biplane was especially eye-catching and dramatic.
The 16” x 24” prints are available in a Limited Edition size of 150 Signed & Numbered and 15 Artist Proofs. If the print is framed, it will consist of double mats, plaque, and a wood frame. NOTE: The incredible original acrylic painting is available for sale. How do you capture the excitement of the AeroShell Aerobatic Team on paper? It’s not easy, but Sam manages to make these four AT-6 Texans come to life. The aircraft, manned by highly skilled pilots, are zooming across the sky in a diamond formation on their way to a slow roll. The original painting was commissioned by Eastern Aviation Fuels, the nationwide distributor for Shell aviation products.
