1st IN SAM'S FLORIDA SERIES! This incredibly life-like scene with a very pretty Cub on floats was named after a "Name the Painting" contest that was held during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010. The details on this print are so exact, you can hear the call of the birds and the gentle whoosh of their wings. Feel the heaviness of the Florida air. Take a breath and you can smell the slightly musky, earthy scent of the lush tropical greenery. And how about the gator? Can you spot her? This is the view Sam and Mindy have from their Lakeland backyard. Unfortunately a gorgeous Cub float plane does not sit by their dock. They don’t even have a dock … yet. But that’s the beauty of artistic license.
Just so you know, Sam can Remarque this print with your N# or personalize other features of the plane (like cowling, exhaust, rudder, etc.) for a charge. Call the studio (863-644-5010)for more info.
The 16” x 20” prints are available in a Limited Edition size of 300 Signed & Numbered; 30 Artist Proofs; and 25 Giclee Prints on Canvas. If framed, it will consist of double mats, plaque, and a wood frame.

PERSONALIZE THIS PRINT WITH YOUR NAME! There’s a lot to lure you into Sam’s first painting of a Cub on floats. The outstanding Piper Cub grabs your attention, along with a few fishermen (Sam is among them). You’ll smile at the Bait Shop and Sushi Bar sign, and the Lyons’ sweet kitty, Beau, up in the tree. If you want to make “Yellow Lure” even more special, get Sam to do a remarque on the big sign. He can change “Steve’s” to your name, your business name or just about anything else. You have to call (800-544-4992) to request the remarque and the charge is $75, but it makes for a fantastic present for yourself or your favorite pilot.
