SOLD OUT! CO-SIGNED BY BOB HOOVER! Living aviation legend Bob Hoover is captured during one of his most crowd-pleasing moments. Bob is taking his famous Shrike Commander through a hold-your-breath airshow routine. He’s doing a Cuban-8 with one engine shut down and the prop feathered. In his typically modest way Bob said “The Cuban-8 is no big deal. it’s easy.” Maybe it’s easy if you’re Bob Hoover who performed his first Cuban-8 at the tender age of 18. He waited until he was a seasoned 20-year-old before shutting off one engine while doing his routine. Now Bob is 83 years young! The 18” x 22.5” prints are available in a special Limited Edition size of 200 Signed & Numbered (SOLD OUT) and 30 Artist Proofs (SOLD OUT). The framed print consists of double mats with cut-outs to show signatures, plaque and black wood frame.

Hoover's Ole Yeller

CO-SIGNED BY BOB HOOVER! This is the third print Sam has produced that features a Bob Hoover airplane and signature. Most aviation people would recognize Bob’s P-51 and the setting of the National Championship Air Races and Air Show in Reno. From the first Air Races, and then for the next 35 years, Bob and “Ole Yeller” started the event as the official pace and safety plane. Bob also performed in his famous, brightly colored plane on the air show circuit for many years. Two other planes are circling the pylon in the background. The 18” x 22.5” prints are available in a special Limited Edition size of 300 Signed & Numbered and 30 Artist Proofs. If framed, it will consist of double mats with cut-outs to show signatures, plaque, and slightly weathered medium brown wood frame. The framing really shows off this magnificent print!
